Our God always has perfect timing...

Yesterday, my son came home from jail and he is a totally new man! Gone is the old, and in is the new! We are so thankful to the Lord for His graciousness, love, goodness and answering of so many of our prayers. We have been overwhelmed these past few weeks with God's abundant blessings and new miracles everyday.

I am seeing my son again, my Jordy, the one that I love so much, for the first time in a long time. When he got home yesterday the first thing he wanted to do was pray with my husband and I, so together, with his leading we began to all thank God for his mercy and forgiveness. Last night, he came our bedroom, and wanted to read verses together, which we did for over an hour.

I could have never imagined how wonderful the transformation would be, but why shouldn't I? Our God can do amazing things. What a wonderful witness for Jesus my young son is now. He unashamedly told everyone of his friends he talked to today about his new life, and I heard him tell each person over and over again how thankful he was for the Lord's forgiveness and how blessed he was that God had so much patience with him. Wow - talk about some answered prayers. All I can say is thank you Jesus for saving our son, and bringing him back to us! The transformation is so totally beyond our wildest dreams or expectations, we know it can only be of God, and we will always be forever grateful. Jordy is literally a new creation in Christ!

My health continues to improve each day and I am Praising and thanking Jehovah Rapha, my Healer! My physical therapy has begun, and of course I overdid it, and was down for a day, but I'm back up now and stronger than ever. Each day I feel more strength coming into my body. My balance is getting better and legs are getting stronger too, but the main thing I have been so amazed at it my energy level! Before I had the procedure I could last 2-3 hours max. Now I'm good for 7-8 hours. My mind is so much sharper, and I'm so much more interested in life. It's like the old me!! Thank you God. I have alot of work to do to get myself stronger, but with the Lord's help, I will get there, with no problem.

So, that's it from the Watts house for now. Some pretty exciting things going on here. We are rejoicing and thanking God for everything that has happened these past few months, because we know it all comes from the Lord; our provider, our redeemer, our healer. Thank you Jesus.

My verse for today is one that Jordy says is one of his favorites:

1 Timothy 1:15-16

"Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life."

My prayer for today:

Heavenly Father, Jesus my Lord:

Thank you for the abundance of blessings you have bestowed on my family these past few weeks. Lord, you always answer our prayers, in your perfect time. Our job is to trust and obey. Thank you for answering so many prayers offered up on behalf of our son. There have been so many people praying for Jordy, asking God to turn his life around and now Jesus, in your perfect timing you have done just that. There have been many people praying for my healing these past 12 1/2 years, and now in your perfect timing, the healing has begun. Let us never forget your mercy and grace and the way we feel right now - the thankful hearts that we have -- help us to always be thankful to you in all things, always.

In Jesus Name I pray,
Amen
