Tears in a bottle~~

Do you have a situation in your life that is grieving you? Have you been praying for something for days, or months or even years, and it hasn't come to fruition? Do you feel like God has left you behind and hasn't heard you or listened to any of your fervent pleas?

STOP~~ Don't go there. Even if you feel you have cried a river of tears, the Lord knows what each of them are. He cries right along side you. He knows what you are going through, right down to every last detail because He is the God of details.

Jesus cries right along with you~~

Psalm 56:8 proclaims this: "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book." If you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, then He is your best friend. You are not alone, and although at times you may feel like no one in the world understands what you are going through, He does and He is there. Reach out to Him. Pour your heart our to Him. He wants you to. He loves you more than words can say.

is one of my very favorite paintings of all time~

Sometimes, it's easy to forget that you are not alone when you are caught up in the emotions of the moment or the situation that you are enduring. But He's not caught up in your emotions, He is the calm in your storm and only He can give you the peace and reassurance that you are desperately craving and need. Psalm 34:17 says "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles."

The Lord will carry you when you can't do it for yourself. You are not alone!

He is there, walking beside you in the sand, holding your hand, carrying you if He needs to because you are to weak to carry yourself. Don't give up and don't stop praying. Just because your answer hasn't come, doesn't mean it isn't coming. Life is a test of our faith. Believe that your prayers will be heard and they will be. It might not be in the time that you want, but if you persevere in prayer, your prayers will be answered. That is a promise in the Bible. Mark 11:24-25 says "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." If you are a believer and you believe that the Word of God is absolute, then rest in His promises. He will do as He says He will. Rest easy.

So, I encourage you to look up to the Lord! No matter you are going through in life, it won't last forever. Be strong and courageous in the Lord and in His mighty power. Dry your tears. The answer to your prayer is coming soon. Rejoice, be glad and be thankful to the one who answers all of our prayers and drys all of our tears each and every day.

My prayer for today:

Dear Lord Jesus:

You know what's on my heart. I am turning to you Lord for the answer. I am believing and continuing to pray for that day when my prayers are answered. I know that you are a God that answers prayers and I am trusting you to do just that. Thank you Jesus that I can come to you for everything.

I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus,
Amen and Amen
