My Journey with Jesus

My life has been a slow, steady, up, down and sometimes treacherous journey to the heart of God.

Like all of us, Jesus made a hole in my heart, that can only be filled by Him. He is the one who formed me in my mother's womb.

He is the one that knows the number of hairs on my head, Luke 12:7 says " even the very hairs on your head are numbered."

My Lord knows when I get up and when I lay down, Psalm 139:2 tells us " You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar." Jesus knows everything there is to know about me, because He formed me in the palm of His hands before the foundation of the world.

Why would I run away instead of straight towards Him? It hasn't always been easy, there have been days of doubt and confusion and down right anger, but He still pulls me back to Him. He patches up my heart, soothes my soul and gives me the courage I need each day to face living with a chronic illness like Multiple Sclerosis.

Each and everyday, the older I get, the more I find myself deeply in love with Jesus, the lifter and Savior of my soul.

I hope you'll come along with me on my Walk of Faith, 365 days a year, maybe my path will help lead you to the One who loves you more than 'to the moon and back', our Jesus, the Light of the World.

God will make a way when there seems to be no way!!

FaithWalk365: Glasgow, Kentucky, United States; My name is Nicki Watts and I've been living with MS for over 30 years now. I have been happily married to the love of my life for almost 39 years and have two grown children, a wonderful daughter in law and an adorable granddaughter, Grace. I love Jesus Christ and my mission in life through this blog is to spread His love to a hurting world. Living with a chronic disease like MS isn't easy and it's a daily challenge, but I chose to concentrate on the blessings in my life instead of the hardships. You won't see me talk alot on here about the MS Society or the fact that the neurological community has been telling us for years that MS is an auto -immune disease. I had a new procedure to open up my clogged jugular veins in August or 2010 and it dramatically changed my thinking about MS being a vascular disease, not an auto-immune disease. I spent much of time helping to educate others about CCSVI (Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency) and how this simple venoplasty can greatly improve the lives of people suffering with MS.
